The 2007 Department of Oregon Convention was held at the Wittenberg Inn and Conference Center, 5188 Wittenberg Lane NE in Keizer, Oregon on May 10-12, 2007. The festivities were subdued this year dur to the untimely death of Department Commander, and Portland Chapter #1 member Dwayne Adams. |

Chapter 1 will hold its annual Holiday Luncheon at JJ North's Grand Buffet 10520 NE Halsey in Portland, Oregon on December 21st, 2005. The party is open to all Chapter members and their family members. Invitations went out in the mail the first week of December, so put the date on your calendar. And remember to bring your invitation and a healthy appetite! |

The Disabled American Veterans held its annual National Convention on August 11th through the 16th at At the Hilton Chicago. The highlight of the convention was the election of Chapter 1's own Brad Barton (shown on the left) to the position of DAV National Commander! Congratulations Commander Barton! |
